Going to be serving around 12 people, so preferably something that can be mixed in bulk rather than individual drinks. We'll have beer already so this is in addition to the beer, not instead of.

Have some gin in addition to vodka maybe.

White Russians go surprisingly well with gumbo.

Something with a tad bit of sweetness to counter the brine of the gumbo.

Old fashioned or Sazerac would be my vote. But also depends on the crowd. Mint Julep maybe

Light beer and gumbo were made for one another, make sure to have this. Alternative can be daiquiri or margarita, premade and served over rocks to make it easy. Serve all three and you might wind up talking to the cops lol

I've also served gumbo with hard sweet tea, steeped with sliced citrus, spiked with vodka, was good. I cook CS gumbo for 20 every Christmas Eve and try to change up the drink selection. Sangria is not great with gumbo. I imagine white russian would also fail. Light beer + daiquiri/margarita wins

Probably the best choice. You can mix a big batch and then keep a sprayer with some herbsaint in it for spraying the glasses (much better technique than the pour, swirl, dump)

While I think the bold flavor of whisky would go well with gumbo, you can do some palomas for those who don't like whisky. The sweet acidity I think would balance the richness of gumbo well

That seems like a damn good idea. Not swanky or original, but solid.

Also a panty dropper if that's needed

If you’re serving me a margarita with your gumbo I’m walking right out of your house
