Any recommendations as to gator recipes. Having a couple buddies coming over to watch the UF game and thought it'd be fun to grill out and do some gator meat. Any good recipes? Is it worthwhile? Thanks!

Never grilled it.
Fried or blackened in the cast iron is the way I go.

Go blackened. Best way, IMO.

Alligator has little fat so it doesn't do great on the grill. I rather it fried or in a sauce picaunte.

my personal experience
try to find the jowl meat as it's much better than the tail meat. Below are pics of tenderized jowl meat, cooked over mesquite. Meat was marinated and served with a mango habanero dipping sauce I made.
