Mary Mahoney’s if it’s still around.

Mary Mahoney's is definitely still around. Good food and great atmosphere.

I like the Half Shell Oyster Bar. The one in the Hard Rock Hotel is good but I like the one across the street better.

Two of my favorites are in the Beau Rivage. I like Stalla Italian Restaurant and IMO the best restaurant on the coast is BR Prime.

I will be staying at the White House Hotel in about three weeks. I have not been to Cora's Restaurant and Bar in there but it looks nice and we plan to try it out. Any reviews on Cora's?

We love the White House hotel!
And yes, Cora’s is really good. My wife got their burger last time and we were expecting something run-of-the-mill, turns out it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had.
I really like Patio44 also.

Half Shell Oyster Bar

We ended up going here. Not a big oyster fan, but wanted to try some since it was fresh oysters, not the pre fried frozen ones you usually get in restaurants.
I got the bienville oysters, had a crabmeat, bacon, shrimp and Parmesan cheese topping.

Will be back in the future

I typically go do the filling station for a drink and crawfish this time of year.

I liked the breakfast more than the dinner. Fine dining type atmosphere. Food not bad - but I'd take Half Shell every day and twice a day on Sundays.

The one in Gulfport is better than both in Biloxi!

do yourself a favor and drive right over the bridge to Phonecia in ocean springs and get the chicken Shawarma and rice. if you cant do that, get the the royal redfish from half shell oyster house

" Royal Redfish 26.5
Bronzed redfish served over a bed of
grilled asparagus and Cajun boiled potato
cake, topped with Royal Red shrimp
sautéed in a white wine cream sauce.
Topped with Parmesan cheese. Served with one side"

Best dish at Half Shell is the Redfish Orleans.

Trust me. Report back.
