Has anyone been to RiverShack Tavern in River town. Just wondering if they play music

It looks fairly new and we live the ground pati. Might be a new place to chill

River Shack on the river road in Jefferson? I've been quite a few times and enjoyed it each time. I don't think it's new.

Nah, they have something called RiverShack in River town Kenner across street from Gendusas. I don't know anything about it, just saw it the other day for first time (maybe it's not new, just haven't been that way in a while)

Check out their facebook page. Search Rivershack Kenner. They said they are doing limited hours right now but will have live music from 8-11 starting in September.

It must have just opened. It was still a construction site a couple of weeks ago.

The new site is very nice. Should be interesting to see if that location takes off.
Ground Pati really seized the moment after the David Dr fire. Porch and Patio, a beer and wine garden, couldn't make it at that exact Rivertown location.
Gendusa's obviously also does fine.

I went the other day. Did was pretty good. Really good wings.
Askari went to Gendusas and they have live Frank Sinatra type music. The food is pretty good but they use a very poor quality mozzarella and a lot of it.

From what I hear, they just weren’t good at running the business. They could have done well.

This statement is confusing.Ground Pati is in the building that was originally Porch & Patio whereas Rivershack Kenner is a block south, closer to the river.
