Healthy Restaurants in Baton Rouge

What are some of the healthier restaurants in Baton Rouge? I really like to eat Whole Foods that are creatively integrated together whether they all be thrown into one bowl or separate on a plate. It seems like everything has to be fried, on a bun slathered in Mayo, or sautéed in butter served sitting in ghee. I just want something fresh and nourishing. Last thread I could find on this topic was 10 yrs ago so I’m sure there’s more restaurants that fit this scene now. I think this type of food preparation is called harvest inspired?? Mediterranean diet? Also if you have an idea of what this type of food is called it may help my search efforts. TIA

Poke bowls
Sushi
Even other dishes youd think are healthy when looking on the menu are generally oversalted and full of butter.

If you go to a local place, they may be more apt to cook it healthier for you if able
Like salads - to ask for the dressing on the side, or to sear the fish without oil

There's plenty of healthy options on every menu in this town. You just can't choose wisely. I suggest trying out MJs Cafe if you want something vegan.

When I go to Wendy’s my wife says “no bun”. Weird looks all around.

Doubtful. Salads at most restaurants are loaded with cheese and all of their dressings are probably based with calorie dense oils. The breads have added sugar, etc, etc. And the rest of the shite is fried.
At that point you are paying $12+ for lettuce and 4oz of grilled chicken

If you can post some actual examples of healthy options I'm happy to concede.
Im not blaming you for the misconception of restaurants having healthy options. The reality is options are really limited, especially in South Louisiana. Just because it's called a "salad" doesnt mean it's healthy when it has bacon, an arse load of cheese, shitty ingredient calorie dense ranch, and 5 servings of croutons.
You're eating a 1,300 calorie salad
Edit: you are really sensitive. Are you going through menopause or something?

It must be exhausting being a loser troll like you. How about when you order the salad, you ask for no cheese or croutons and the dressing on the side?? It’s really not that hard but go ahead and pad your douchebag post count.
Edit: Everyone hates you almost as much as Oweo congratulations.

Just go to Salad Station if you want to blow your money.

You can probably get grilled chicken, fish, seafood and vegetables at any decent restaurant.

Like i said, then you are paying $12+ for lettuce and 4 oz of chicken. You can do that for sure, but the OP was about healthy restaurants in Baton Rouge. Not what restaurants can I go to and ask them to take everything off of their menu items to make it healthy.

Your drivel is noted. I'll ask again, if there are so many healthy menu items, I'm happy to concede if you can show them to me.

How many places can you NOT ask for the grilled (fish, shrimp, chicken, fillet) no butter and a side of green veggies???

If you can be a little creative and not afraid to ask for a complicated order, you can have reasonably healthy food from a lot of places. For example, at Chimes you can get the Pork Chops (2 5oz pork loin) with no glaze, side of steamed veggies and order a side salad. Alternatives being chicken breast or grilled fish or even blackened shrimp.
There aren't really any places specifically for health-oriented food, besides maybe Fit Blendz.
Look up Oschner's Eat Fit app and download it. It'll show you restaurants with menu items they've aapproved of. Generally speaking it's healthier, lower calorie items.

To answer some questions…
Yes I’m not looking for a place where I have to create a menu item so that I end up with some plain piece of grilled chicken and shrimp and a sad excuse for a side of vegetables. Or taking almost everything off a salad and paying $18 for it when you add protein to it. Something like this:
