(I guess I'm looking for approval for a decision I probably already made, but your thoughts and opinions are wanted. Plus I'm feeling pressure because there is a 48 hour time limit on the Bed Bath & Beyond 20% off coupon. )

More info:
My dad is in his 80s. He enjoys cooking. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money. For some reason, he's not a big fan of stainless steel. He likes non stick. And he cooks with metal utensils. Currently has glass ceramic electric cooktop stove.

Ninja™ Foodi™ NeverStick™ Premium Hard-Anodized 13-Piece Cookware Set
$399 at Bed Bath & Beyond
Got a 20% discount for giving them my email address.
So $319.20 plus tax and free shipping.

I already put my hands on them and I like them. Certainly not ideal, but they are pretty good for the price.

I like the thickness and weight.

Lids, handles, and nonstick coating are all oven safe up to 500°F.

Nonstick coating is metal utensil safe

Aside from All Clad, they felt better than anything else in the store.

The reviews online are pretty solid.

I started searching for a set because my dad nearly bought a Emeril Lagasse set on TV.

This "Professional" set, with coupon code RTEFP20, is $277.63. That's total cost.

Currently he is using a Cooks (JCPenney) set. It's hard anodized nonstick. The nonstick stuff is pretty much destroyed on them. Probably had them close to ten years.

Pretty much this set:

Can't comment on those sets, but you can choose between 2 different All Clad sets on Sierra.com for $299:

All-Clad Essentials Nonstick Cookware Set - 12-Piece - $300

Or

All-Clad Nonstick Hard-Anodized Cookware Set - 10-Piece - $300

I think the 10 piece set is from their HA1 line and the 12 piece is from their Essentials line. I'm sure they're both good quality, but the HA1 line is superior to the Essentials.

ETA: here is the same 12 piece set for $200 at TJ Maxx:

12 piece essentials set - $200

Thanks for posting that.

I was just about the pay for the Ninja set above, but I decided to check back here first.

It was tempting to go with All-Clad, but I believe the Ninja set is a better choice for Dad. The main reason is my dad uses two or three pots at a time. And the Ninja set has more pots. The All-Clad is "Slightly Blemished", hence the lower price. And believe it or not, I think the nonstick surface will hold up better on the Ninja set.

Don't count on it. We had the ninja 3qt saute pan and it started flaking after first use.

Slightly Blemished

This usually means a scratch on the bottom or a messed up box. Stuff from tj Maxx or Sierra has always been good to me.
