Hooter's Steamed Shrimp

Has anyone tried Hooter's steamed shrimp? The are actually not steamed but dropped in hot, seasoned water...what we would considered "boiled."
They are headless and have the vein cut out, leaving the rest of the shell on. Once they are out of the water a little dry seasoning is sprinkled on them.
The are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Some of the best shrimp I have ever had and that is including the ones I have cooked. I am going to try this method in a few weeks when I get a chance to cook again.

Never tried them. Thought Hooters was just a wings, beer and breast joint.

Why leave the shell on at that point?
It does sound good...with some Old Bays on sprinkled on them.

They are kick arse, that's all I eat when I go there. Their butter is creamy butter that is skimmed during clarification and topped with old bay seasoning.

Our shrimp and crab legs are legit. The cod sucks. I think we are ditching it for catfish.

Try them at least once. They are those items on the menu that definitely give you much better than you expected at Hooters.
