How do you pronounce "Moët"?

I have always said "mo-a". I've heard many people say "mo-et", and I just alway assumed they were incorrect.
Now I keep hearing a commercial on the radio and they say mo-et.
What is correct? How does the vineyard say it?

We're offered Mo-ette
We don't mind Shi-vuss
Wherever we go
We bring monkey with us

The same way Freddie Mercury does in Killer Queen.

It’s mo-ette. The guy was Dutch and not French who started it (in France).

Well, then I’ve been saying it wrong.
It’s been my experience that in French words that end with T, the T is silent, and in Romantic languages, the e is a long a sound.

If it was asked on the Rant it would be Meaux-Ay and would have been what Jeaux Burreaux was drinking late last Saturday night.

Keep this going. How do you pronounce Veuve Clicquot, specifically the Veuve part.
I said it wrong for years.

The correct way to pronounce it is ‘Mo’wett’.
Moët is indeed French champagne and was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët.This is where it gets confusing. Moët was born in France in 1683; however, his name is not French, it is Dutch, which is why it is pronounced thus, says Helen Vause, public relations spokesperson for Moët & Chandon in New Zealand.

I offered pronunciation advice in another thread and was chastised....LOL
Veuve =. Vuhvv. Hard to spell out without resorting to IPA, but if you speak French, it sounds like it is spelled.
The second v isn’t an R sound, it’s a v that’s held just a little bit, not chopped off.

I first heard of Moet from 90’s rappers and they all said Moe-et. So that’s what I go by.
