The package says to thaw in the refrigerator.
Is there a quicker method?

Put some warm water in the sink and let it sit in there

Put it under cold running water. It'll defrost in minutes.

If you just put it in a container of water, you're going to get free convection, which is slow heat transfer. The moving water gets you forced convection which is much more efficient. You don't even need a lot of water. Just a drizzle will do.

The above posters are correct. Always use cold water for food safety reasons. And running water is always faster than not-running water.
