Could a couple dine there for $100?

matters if you are drinking or not. if you go and share an app, get a salad each, a steak each, and don't drink i would think it would run around 100

if 100 is your max i probably wouldn't go.
unless you're with the driveman, then its on the house.

160 last time I went not including tip... 2 cocktails pre dinner, 2 glasses of wine with dinner... shared spinach salad, one side shared (you can split all sides- I rec. Fleming's potatoes), 2 steaks. If you don't drink you can get away with right at 100. Steaks run 30-45 I think. With an app and wine, look at spending 120-140.
It's worth it for me maybe every other month

Really no sense in going to Fleming's if you are gonna cheap out.
I'd rather spend 75-100 at Outback and get everything from drinks and appetizers to dessert and coffee.
100 doesn't go very far at Fleming's. 175 with a drink or two and dessert.

The lava cake at Flemming's is worth $100

Amen...the molten lava cake is worth the trip...
Aside from that, it's not the best steak I've ever had...
the g/f and I each got a glass of wine, a steak, split 2 sides, and dessert...ran me about $130...
you can go elsewhere with a hundred bucks and do much better...

You can do it Karma. Just stay away from the $12 martini's.

Their bone-in ribeye rocks! One of my favorite restaurant steaks. Only better ribeye I've had was the dry-aged one at Delmonico's in New Orleans.

I agree here. You're better off going to Outback and getting whatever you want. Flemings is usually a $200 night for us (with drinks), and that's if you stay away from the nice bottles of wine. Save it for a night when you have a few bucks to burn, and you'll have a much better time.

Why are all of you suggesting spending 100 at outback as a viable alternative?
That's absurd

I had the "special" the other night. It was a "bone-in" filet. In other words, it was a filet with a chunk of vertabrae attached. It was awesome, but I didn't realize it was $42. It put us over the $200 mark for dinner.

does outback still have their "prime menu" with select prime cuts?

Flemings was fantastic when I went.
I don't ever get steaks at Outback because I don't think they are very good and they are kinda pricey for that quality. I cook much better steaks myself.

Just went last Thursday for my anniverary.
Total without tip was $180.
The wife had the 3 wine sampler (three different wines about a half of glass each.) $8.75
I had 3 crown and 7's $7.75 ea, total $23.25
BBQ shrimp appetizer: $14
split ceasar salad (was plenty for two) $9
20oz bone in ribeye $42
12oz filet $38
crab meat on top of filet $15
two shared sides (was too much) $9 ea $18
Free dessert (lava cake) but was $11 on menu
Damn good food but expect min of $125 with tip.

Flemmings is good and all but if you are going to spend 200 wouldnt making a drive to NO for a night be worth it? 200 goes a long way at MANY TOP non chain restaurants not named Stella.
