How many glazed donuts can you eat in one sitting?

This morning I ate three, but could easily have kept going. I think I ate a half dozen when I was younger.
Once 30 years ago when I was clerking at a law firm, two other clerks got into a pissing match about who could eat the most donuts. So one day somebody brought 2 dozen from Meche's in Lafayette. Whoever ate the most in 20 minutes won.
One guy started turning purple (like seriously sick) at around 6. The other guy was slow but steady and ate 9. Nine massive glazed donuts. I still admire that guy. Wonder if he is still alive.

Not that I ever would but if it came down to it I think I could knock down a dozen no problem.

I’ve eaten 6 without much problem. Never tried to eat more. Never appealed to me

I can probably put down 15+ if there was a reward for the punishment I just did to my body.
Donuts have no satiation whatsoever to me.
Now, I would probably puke, possibly get diabetus, and have my innards wrecked. I'm not saying there would be no consequences

Back when I was in college and still had a metabolism, Me and 3 other guys finished off 3 dozen in about an hour.
Now, I occasionally enjoy the 1st 2 bites of a donut before the regret starts.

I could 2 after that I would feel like a pig.. As kids we would meet up at the park for football on Saturdays. One of the guys brought a dozen buttermilk drops and chocolate milk. He ate all dozen and threw up later.. Even as a kid I thought "what an a-hole"...

3 max for me but my youngest son (17) can put down a dozen in one sitting. It's an amazing thing to watch. He's not stuffing himself either, just likes donuts. And no, he's not the least bit fat.

Got really high and drunk one night in BR (college years) and ate 2 dozen Krispy Kreme. Was sick as a dog the next day.

Can and would are two completely different answers. If forced I think I could get the whole dozen down.

When I was 17 I'd get a $5 large pizza from Dominos and just sit the box on my lap and eat the whole thing. It's gotta be peak eating age.
