How many pounds of boiled shrimp

I often boil two pounds of jumbo for wife and me, and it is plenty, especially if we have a salad or other side.

Depending how big but if large or jumbo typically one pound per person. Usually other things to eat with it

Agree with the above responses. A normal sitting would be 1 pound. If I want to enjoy them and eat a lot, more than 1 pound for sure.

Agree with the consensus of 1 lb. and I boil my shrimp with many of the sides I do for a crawfish boil, so that's plenty to eat.

I buy shrimp by the ice chest, 250-300 lbs a year. I headless them and freeze them in 2lb containers. 2 lbs shrimp, a few potatoes, 4 corns and a link of smoked sausage feeds my family of 4 with a little leftover.

I guess I'm a fatass, but I can eat 4-5 lbs of fresh shrimp with no problem...
