I'm not really sure what type of casserole you're looking for, but here is a shrimp and grits casserole.

It will certainly not be Yankee!

There are quite a few shrimp and grits casseroles out there. You can pick one you like best or incorporate things you like about the various recipes into one dish.

ya, i was hoping someone would share grandma boudreauxs recipe but doesnt look like thats incoming lol

i like to smother things down with oinions and garlic so this will be my first "real" caserole.

i have made something i call a tuna caserole, but then thats just mac and cheese with tuna fish added and then covered with bread crumbs

I don't know that the grandmas made a lot of shrimp casseroles other than the stuffed mirliton or eggplant and the like. They did shrimp stews, etouffee and creole a good bit.

This is surprisingly good!

Shrimp Casserole

2 lb Peeled Shrimp
1 chopped onion
3/4 cup butter
1 can onion soup
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
2 cup raw rice
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes

Melt butter and saute pepper and onions. Add peeled shrimp, soup, tomatoes, salt and pepper and rice. Pour into a greased casserole.

Bake covered, at 350° for 2 hours.
