So been seeing a bunch of people doing these in home sushi experiences with a private Chef. Wife’s birthday is coming up and thought that this might be a good option with our friend group. Anybody got any recommendations on somebody to do this in Metairie??

Why not drop by one of the sushi places and see if the owner will send someone over with all of the ingredients for make whatever your guests like for a couple or four hours? Going through a sushi place might be a cheaper way to get someone who also has all of the fixings for the meal.

Yea that’s my plan. This is the trendy thing right now so I’m sure someone has a good idea on where to go for it.

We did this for a marketing get together deal with our office and a good customers office. The chef made it and also would teach small groups how to do some rolls and stuff. It was awesome.

The photos you're seeing online are likely Rock n Sake. They kinda went viral locally for it. But like MD said, you can probably pick your favorite sushi spot and ask. I imagine that's easy money and hard for them to turn down.

Rock and Sake is the answer. You need a minimum of ten people. We had ten, and the chef literally just kept making sushi. It was an amazing experience. We had some newbies to sushi who were eating everything by the end of the night. THat may have had a lot to do with the sake we were drinking, but still the food was amazing.

ETA pretty sure the Metairie location offers this as well, if the one downtown doesn't have the date available.

Tsunami was a lot cheaper. More like $50 a person.

Rock N Sake will come out and make you anything off their menu. My girlfriend just went to a bridal shower and they were there.

Not sure about Metairie but that’s the price in Lafayette when they do the private home chef from Tsunami.
