I know magnalite is no longer made, but when I go to their site it takes me to Magnaware, so wondering if that is the same thing.
Also, for 4-6 people, what size pots do y'all usually use for gumbo, jambalaya, red beans, etc.....
Any other recs on cookware?

Thanks in advance

Mcware also seems to be a direct ripoff of Magnalite too, have no idea which way to go now. I still use some hand me down Magnalite.

If you've never cooked with an OG Magnalite, just buy a McWare. They cook good enough. I have 2 McWares. A 13" Roaster and a 15".

A 13" is plenty bug enough for a family of 6. My 15" I mostly use to pot fry ducks, rabbits, coots or 7 steaks. Just because it's has bigger footprint and is easier to brown stuff.

It sounds like someone bought the magnalite.com url and redirected to their own site.

I have a set of McWare that I really like- seems to be the same quality as my mom’s Magnalite. It’s made in China, but it’s a company out of Mamou, LA I think.

I found a vintage Dutch oven and 15” roaster in my wife’s grandmother’s kitchen. Love those pots.
