I've said this one hundred times, but I'll say it again. The best boiled crawfish in Baton Rouge can be found at this establishment. The family and I ordered 20 lbs. last night (@ $3.79/lb) and they were delicious. They were very nicely sized with some HUGE ones in the mix and they were cooked perfectly.

I know a lot of people hate on the one on Perkins, but the O'Neal location is always consistent.

BTW I find the place in DS on range does a better job on the crawfish. Have had both plenty of times too. The prices in BR are just way higher than other areas of the state right now.

How much cheaper are they per pound? $0.25? Or $1.00?

I am not generally a fan of the Don's in Denham but I had their crawfish the other day and they were AWESOME.
I had LA Boiler's on O'Neal a few weeks ago, and they were good as well but just not quite as flavorful as the ones at Don's were.

*Then again, I'm a salt/butter freak ..

Yeah, you were definitely right. Brag and I went not expecting much (it was a last minute call) and we loved it. He ate a ton

My friend used to work there and insisted I get the Apple Cobbler and it's the best cobbler I've ever had.

Maybe, but certainly not within Greater Baton Rouge. That distinction goes to Gulf Net Seafood, in Gonzales, LA, located off Highway 621.

Wait im not sure if we are talking about the same place.. Never really noticed the name of the place lol This place was on the right side of the road coming from I-12 just past Tate Rd.

Cant recall the name Crawfish was really good.

It was 3.89 like 3 weeks ago or so.. Not sure what thier prices are now.

I had both LA Boilers and Tony's within a week's time period, and not only is Tony's .30 cents a lb cheaper, but they were a little bigger and better seasoned.

I believe prices boiled in the lafayette area are around 80 cents cheaper.

I like the O'neal LA Boilers, but I also like Jimbo's. Both have always been very consistent for me. Yeah, you pay a little more, but I'm ok with paying for consistency.

Directions clarification: Take Airline from B R
towards Gonzales, turn right on HWY 621 Gulf Net
is approx one mile down on the left. Good eats!
