Saw the announcement sign on the door today as I stopped by to check out the progress. Looks like a fabulous place, very well lit and with lots of space. The live seafood tanks were visible in the back of the store, and I'm hoping they'll carry some whole fresh fish, fingers crossed. Just from peering in, it seems like an Asian Grocery that you'd see in a big city. Sadly, I've been spoiled by Asian markets on the West Coast so I'm hoping for the best.

They originally said they'd be opening in September, then October, then November, etc... It got to the point where I stopped asking them.

This is the former Old Navy building at the Mall. It's gonna put their former place to shame as I never felt comfortable shopping there with the aisles being so small. For those who are interested, they said that both locations will be open for a short time until they decide to close the old location.

Love the Asian market and they much needed a bigger store but I’m bummed about the new location. I’d much rather it be closer to the other one. I hate going close to the mall or anywhere close to Ambassador.

Pretty sure that one is moving into the old Old Navy building.

The market on Johnston Street makes Dollar General look empty.

Everything exceeded expectations for a city the size of Lafayette.
