Leblanc's Boudin is now Veron Boudin

Yesterday I stopped in at one of those convenient stores(I believe this one was once a 7eleven)and noticed a new sign saying they were now selling Veron Boudin. They used to sell links of Leblanc's(from St. Amant)which is or was sold at most gas stations and convenience stores in southeast Louisiana not that long ago. I asked the sales clerk lady about it and she said that Veron bought out Leblanc's a few years ago. I don't know about that for sure on the "years ago" thing.
The Veron I'm talking about is the one which is sold in supermarkets here in southeast Louisiana not the Veron's supermarket in Lutcher. The Veron's supermarket and the now mass produced Veron were once related but the sausage only side of the family sold the business to River Parish Foods years ago. Personally I prefer the Veron's supermarket sausage between the two.
Anybody try the Veron boudin lately? The store clerk said it's pretty good.

Not true
So what happened was.... Leblanc’s boudin shop in st amant burnt down, to keep his business going Danny Leblanc hired Verons to produce his boudin, anyway after they produce it for a while they tell Danny they ain’t doing it no more (some other drama goes down too) and verons starts producing their own boudin and and delivering it everywhere, Danny finds someone else to make his product but the time he was down combined with verons being having the technique and contact info /route info they take most

Leblanc's boudin was always mediocre. The Verons is a little better but still not on par with the big boys.

Veron's original boudin did not have rice.
Not sure what they are making now, but the original recipe was cooked meat in casing.
And it is/was delicious. I know, I made it.
