Looking for recs for lunch Saturday in Metairie.

Nothing fancy, more casual.

I know of Bobby Heberts place and Don's.

What else do you recommend?

The Catch (best gumbo in the area)
Station 6
Parrans
Equator
Oak Oven - not in Metairie but close enough in Harahan. Just don't speed in Harahan.

Metairie is pretty vast. Any certain area you are looking at?

If you are going to be more to the west then I wouldn't suggest Bucktown or vice versa

Larder's is a good casual lunch spot for sandwiches and specials. A little pricey but damn good stuff.
