Thibodaux sucks at food, go to sphars it is about the best I can think of for lunch.

While Thibodaux does suck at food, I have a few suggestions....
la Palma has awesome burritos and authentic Mexican.
peppers pizza...but stick with the pizza.
Geaux Fish.....good sushi but high prices and low quantities.
God, we need restaurant help down here....I cook most of my meals. bubba's is below average food and terrible service.
I would recommend driving down 311 and hitting up the lunch basket in Houma...sounds perfect for a cheap co-worker lunch and only a few miles away.....and you can hop on 90 pretty quick

One of the worst dining locations on the face of the earth (in my opinion).
Perhaps. But Fremin's is pretty solid IMO

Why not just go to Fremin's? I've always had pretty good dinners there. I see they have a pretty reasonable lunch menu.
No way in hell I'd drive all the way to Houma for the lunch basket of all places.

Lunch basket is legit
Plate lunches, burgers, and tenders.

Not legit enough to drive from Thib to Houma for.

That's what I do once a week for lunch....but I work in Houma, so I hardly ever eat in Thibodaux

FWIW, Fremin's is a reasonably priced lunch option i my opinion.
I haven't been to Fremin's for lunch, so this may be the case. For dinner, however, I find them a bit high relative to the level of food they're serving. Still, it's the best place for Dinner in Thibodaux.

Half Shell, while good, will take you 14.86 hours to receive your food.

AreJay and i started a quest to find the best burger in thibodaux (we named this quest Burgerdeaux) but alas, we did not complete it.
Did y'all ever actually find a good burger? I think I've tried most of the places that serve a burger and nothing comes to mind.

La Palma's burger was pretty good.
Is half shell the same as the restaurant that used to be on St patrick's Hwy I guess where the back of walmarks is now? I remember it being a blue building and having the same decor (nets, plastic sea creatures).

But the ambience makes it worth the wait. Netting in the corners with fake, plastic fish attached does it for me every time.

I honestly couldn't say. I really hadn't had much exposure to Thibodaux until the last five years or so, and half shell has always been on St. Mary in that span.
