Lunch Suggestions: Baton Rouge to Biloxi

I'm traveling to Biloxi tomorrow morning from North Louisiana. I will probably hit Baton Rouge around 11 am. Any lunch suggestions between there and Biloxi? I'm pretty familiar with most options in Baton Rouge. I'm more looking for suggestions between BR and Biloxi.

By yourself or with family or a group?
There is a cool spot at the Sorrento/Donaldsonville exit. Coffee House at the Cajun Village is just off the interstate. Very casual spot. You can grab a late breakfast or lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. I like the open faced beignet smothered with shrimp etouffee. Then can walk around the antique shops in the village. If there are kids with you there is a live gator they can check out.

Grab a snack of boudin and cracklins in Krotz Springs, then push onto Bay St Louis for lunch. Take the beach road down to Biloxi after that.
TBT for some beers, food, views, breeze.
ETA: Just do this, don’t listen to anyone else.

The Blind Tiger in Biloxi is worth the wait, but if your starving, Covington has great options.

In Gulfport... about a block off the Gulf on Hwy 49... On the Half Shell. Get the Redfish Orleans - one of the best things you'll ever eat.

He’s driving from north Louisiana numb nuts. He should stop and gets south La goodies, then push on a bit before driving the coast.

There's like 3-4 Blind Tigers between BR and Biloxi. He could choose between Covington, Slidell, BSL, or Biloxi.

North aint a place Newt, it's a direction. And only the north western portion of the state would take you to Baton Rouge via Kroltz Springs. Dude may be from Shreveport or may not. I have no idea..

All of North Louisianan drives through Krotz Springs if they’re going through BR. I guess theoretically if you were from Waterproof you’d take 61 down...otherwise.

Man that’s a pretty embarrassing statement. Poor Rand McNally is rolling over in his grave smh

I would take LA 1 from Alexandria and follow the river for scenery

Y’all are full of shite. The one alternate, long arse route is what y’all drive down to go meet your buddies at a casino.

Drive a little bit further to Ocean Springs and go to Keg and Barrel. Went a couple weeks back and the place is awesome.

From Ruston east the quickest route to Baton Rouge is Hwy 425 to Natchez then 61 to BR. The exception would be the people in the Tallulah vicinity who would take 65 to 425. The only way some one east of Ruston would end up in Kroltz Springs is if they were drunk or really wanted some boudin. Or both I guess

From Ruston east you should go to Jackson and down 49 to Biloxi.
