Magnalite vs McWare

Is there a big difference between the two cast aluminum pots? Or is the only difference that McWare is a Louisiana company.
Also what's the best way to clean these pots? Dish washer? Or will that hurt anything.

I have both old original Magnalite and Mcware and they are about the same. Even though Mcware is actually made in China.
The new Magnalite sold at Walmart is also made in China but it seems to have a rough inside. Although I do not own any of this type.
It is OK to run it through the dishwasher, But it will dull the exterior of the pots. For that reason I usually wash by hand.
