After watching Adam Richman devour all manner of ginormous sandwiches, pizzas, and bushels of other items, I always thought that I could hang with him on some things. Especially the hamburgers.

Yesterday, I decided to have a normal meal after having eaten rabbit food for the first 11 days of 2009 (down 12 lbs.!).

I went for the "20 oz." burger from Cheeburger Cheeburger because, after all, burgers are pretty much my favorite food.

I was sorely mistaken in thinking that I could hang with that guy. I barely put down a pound and a half burger(bread/condiments included) when that guy ate five pounds of an eight pound burger.

The amount of food he can cram down his gullet is disturbing.

Kinda figured that.

I was still disappointed, though.

Last year I ate two of those Cheeburge Cheeburger burgers, and then had a large peanut butter & jelly shake...

I'm a fat bastard and can still only eat one of those 20-oz cheeburgers, and maybe a few fries but nothing else. I've been on a diet for the past four months, though, so i doubt I could even do that now.

can anyone here top 3 riverside patty bugers in one setting? this was at the downtown place about 10 years ago. the owner said i couldn't eat 2, and if i did he would give me a 3rd one free. But, if i didn't finish the 3rd one i had to pay for it.

Needless to say the 3rd burger was so big the meat reached the edge of the paper plate. I finished them all with witnesses....including a poster on this site.

I never tried the 20 oz but I think I can get it down.

I did eat the illegal barito from izzos. It was a steak and chicken and was loaded with beans, rice, onions, and mushrooms. I finished the whole thing but I was hurting after.

the sad part is that i ate dinner that night.

but, i did feel a little food drunk...it tends to happen in those kind of eating challenges. it's weird.

Typical "eat the MONSTER BURGER in X time & get it free" type of thing...I think. I'm not considering it so I didn't investigate it too close...just saw a sign posted in the place about it.

I ate the Monster at George's, and also the big one at Times, I think it was called the Godzilla or something. Those things aren't that big, in my opinion. I'm 6'3", 200 lbs., and I had no problem eating them pretty easily. I think any person with a big appetite who's pretty hungry could eat one easily.

so does every George's have that challenge? How does it work?

know of anything like that in the NOLA area?

I'm your height but about 210, and i think most about my size that are fairly hungry could eat most of these challenges.
