Anyone remember Broadway Rolls? I can't remember heading down to Venice from Metairie for Tarpon fishing without picking up at least 4 packs of those amazing things.

Alas as they say, "It Ain't There No More".

We used to get the turtles. A cookie with a pecan baked in with a dollop of chocolate on top in the shape of a hersey's kiss.

I miss the cinnamon rolls. I saw a sign on a Tastee Donuts on Clearview that said they had McKenzie's cinnamon rolls, but I've never stopped to see if it is true.

My favorite McKenzie's product was their king cake--the dry kind w/ no icing but rather just a bunch of sugar. When you got the baby at school, odds are you brought a large McKenzie's king cake. Simple enough. And delicious.

As a kid, the chocolate e'clairs and the wine cakes with the whipped cream and cherry on top.

I'd kill for a dozen. I liked the chocolate glazed donuts too.
