Stopping in Meridian, MS on the way to Nashville tomorrow looking for some lunch recommendations.

Harvest Grill and Weidmann's looked good on Tripadvisor.
TIA!

Harvest Grill is good. Meridian is a tough place for food. Downtown is trying to improve though.

Weidmann's is good. Been there few times for dinner.

This probably isn't at all what you're looking for but I stopped in a place that I think was attached to a gas station years ago -- fried fish and seafood. Pretty good as I remember.

Think it's called Seafood Express.

Thought about seeing if this place was open.

La Pinata for Mexican. Harvest and Weidmann's as mentioned. Rustler Steakhouse is open again I think. There is a Cracker Barrell, Chick Fillet, Dairy Queen, BWW, Red Lobster and Outback, and two or three Chinese places if any of those are your thing. You can get a good catfish or shrimp Po Boy at the gas station on H-39 just past the BMW Dealership and take it to Bonita Lake to eat, since the lot at the Gas station could never be considered a location for fine dining. If you know someone, MCC is OK too. Cater's Deli on Poplar Springs, across from the Peavey HQ makes excellent sandwich type food. You could eat at Cater's and then go order a custom guitar amp or Ax at Peavey. The Soul BBQ place (Rib Shack) beside La Pinata has pretty good BBQ. As the side of the cinderblock building says, "You Don't need no teeth to eat their meat."
