Headed to Hoover on Wed. (hopefully) and will be around Meridian for lunch. Looking for something good but light.

There are some great food options in many Mississippi towns. Meridian is not one of them. I plan trips so that I’m not in Meridian at a meal time.

Not a big fan of New's. They were always busy during our ten years in Meridian, (Gone almost three years now) but I was always turned off by roaches strolling across my table.
The ones I listed are places I would go to, not necessarily in my order of preference, but preference varies with each changing day.
