I have a kibbeh or kibbee, or whatever spelling you choose, addiction.

shwarma
baba ganoush, hummus, falafel, lamb kabob... does taziki and gyro count? Close enough I reckon.

The best Middle Eastern dishes are w/ red meat.
They have some great recipes for lamb shank that are really tender, juicy, and flavorful.
