Other than Martin's and Total Wine, are there any liquor stores in the New Orleans area with a good selection of natural or low intervention wine? You know, the wine fermented with the natural yeast from the air?

Try the Independent. It’s my favorite wine shop in the city.

You just named the 2 most likely. The other one that comes to mind is Dorignac's.

Keife and Company is another likely place if you need another option

This. They will have a decent curated selection.

Some nice wines to look at are Parajes del Valle line and the Unico Zelo line. Both lines are some great bottles.

Yup. Independent is the GOAT.

The owner knows his stuff and they have a wine selection you won't find anywhere else in the city.

Swirl is also pretty good.

Be careful buying more expensive wines at Dorignacs. In the past they have not been good about storing wine that doesn't move off the shelf. That may have changed but is a thing with them, or any supermarket.

I would go to the Independent.

If you want a Wine Bar that specializes in Natural Wine, Tell Me Bar does, that's their entire shtick.

Parages del Valle makes some great wines. I've toured their facilities. For the uninitiated, here's their website:

Everyday Italian wines from Australia. Right up my alley and definitely on my list (like for today) to go check these out. Which shop are these at?

I will be running their white, orange, and red tonight for our weekly wine special. I expect them to be pretty popular.

Nice! Its unreal that they can grow grapes in the prevailing soil conditions, yet alone grapes that produce such great wine.

I asked my distributor and he said for retail Swirl and Faubourg Wines. Bars that carry them are Baru Bistro & Tapas, Bacchanal Wine and The Rabbits Foot

They must be able to pull off some pretty good magic to get these.
