My daughter has another gym meet in New Iberia next weekend. Are there any good restaurants in the area or are we stuck with the regular chain type restaurants? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Bon Creole, Janes seafood, Boiling Point or Duffy's. No nice sit down places here. Or maybe El Paso if you want Mex. Not sure if Landry's is still legit

Chains suck even worse than normal in New Iberia.

In addition to what’s been listed, hit up Victors Cafeteria for breakfast. Also get some real Meche’s donuts while you’re there.

If you want a nice sit down lunch travel a few miles south of town to Cafe Jefferson at Rip Van Winkle gardens.

Yellow Bowl in Jeanerette if you want to venture out of town.

A quick but good burger can be had at Caribbean Ice, it’s a snowball stand but the food is great.

Seafood Connection and Boiling Point are two good seafood options.

Nice little place, you'll find something that will work for you and others here.

Bon Creole for poboys. Best around.

Victors for breakfast / lunch.

Jane’s for dinner. Great seafood.

A-bears has a great burger. But it’s an old drive in. Not too nice of a sit down.

Boiling point has good seafood.

I appreciate all of the recommendations. I’m sure we’ll pick one of them. Wife and kid are very picky eaters so I need a quick backup plan for myself so I don’t end up at a Chili’s/Olive Garden type place. I don’t want to start WWIII in here but where would a good spot to pickup a link or two of boudin later this evening? Anywhere from I-10 through Youngsville down to New Iberia.

Charlie T's in Breaux Bridge if coming from BR or if coming from Lake Charles...Best Stop or Billy's...from Shreveport you can hit Billy's in North Lafayette Or Don's...NuNu's in youngsville is hard to beat but don't what time you in da area! Tommorow morning you want to go to Legnon's and get a couple of links of the crawfish boudin (its the best boudin you'll ever eat) to start your day...they open at 7am ...

Coming from BR way. We’ve got a few stops today so probably later this evening. I’ve had all the main points in Scott but never had NuNu’s. Always wanted to try them so that may be an option. Tomorrow is competition day so it’ll be total freaking chaos between my wife and daughter so I’m probably stuck with hotel breakfast. I’ll definitely keep Legnon’s in mind in case I get lucky.
