Wife just picked up one of these after seeing enough TikTok’s about them. Anyone have one and have any suggestions or recipes?

Return it and buy Blue Bell or make your own ice cream

Isn’t the purpose of this to make your own ice cream?

Paul, let’s be serious. I know that you are out jet setting in exotic areas and traveling to unforeseen lands but Blue Bell is better than Ben and Jerry’s

My gf got me one after I complained about the lack of protein ice creams

I use it for that. Get to enjoy ice cream while keeping up with my macros

My wife bought one too a year or so ago. She just made some chocolate gelatto a couple days ago that was pretty awesome. Ice creams have been hit or miss (it's ice cream so it's all delicious, but comparing it to store brands). Honestly, the best thing she does with it is take the bananas the kids don't end up eating, mushing them into the container and making banana sorbet. It's awesome. You get the pleasure of eating a dessert, but it's 100% banana so it's at least relatively healthy.

I keep it simple.

Chocolate fairlife protein shake.
Spin twice

Sometimes I Add half a banana and use the mix in function.

Tots made a thread about the Fairlife protein ice cream and that has since become a major trend. I'm gonna get a Creami on the next sale and start doing it. I could singlehandedly keep Costco in business with the amount of Fairlife shakes I buy there

A cost-benefit analysis is not needed for fun household appliances.

So what it costs $200 and a blizzard costs $8. Have fun making it and make whatever you want while doing it in the comfort of your own home.

Also - good luck trying to find recipes that do not have pudding or protein powder in it...Seems like this machine was overtaken by health nuts.

Buy the dole whip mix and use it in the cremi

Pretty much will be the same as the one in Disney

First go was just a simple homemade vanilla. Turned out incredible! Took me back to summers on the river with cousins.

Yes I know there are cheaper options out there, but as stated above, we are also going to use it for healthy recipes.

Seems like a good buy for the wife and I so far.

I have a similar machine and mostly use it for savory things. Take some frozen peas or corn, add some heavy cream. Let it freeze over night, Run it through creami and warm up. Great soup. You can also make a farce/pate out of meats, etc.

I'd rather eat their ice cream. I couldn't care less what they do in their personal lives. People that say shite like this are so lame
