Going to be in Ok City in a few weeks for a long weekend. Any restaurant recommendations? Pretty much like anything.

Lots of great suggestions. Here are a few more. Is there anything in particular you are looking for?

Nic’s Grill for burgers.

Bobo’s for chicken and fried biscuits.

Hatch for breakfast.

The Butcher Stand BBQ In Wellston for bbq,but if you don’t have time Clark Crew BBQ is a solid choice in the city.

Tamales El Patio for tamales.

The Mule for sandwiches and drinks.

Empire Slice for pizza.

Cheevers for chicken fried steak.

Bob’s Fish and Seafood for catfish.

I should add that there is a lot of great East Asian food, specifically Vietnamese. Anything near NW 23rd and Classen will be good.

It's been years but Mickey Mantle's was the best when I used to work there years ago.

If you want to see the countryside…. Run out to Shawnee and hit Vans Pig Stand.

Used to tear it up back in the day.

Grand House has great dim sum.

Fungs for Peking Duck (call ahead to reserve).

Thai House.

Pho Cuong has great fresh shrimp spring rolls and pho.

I’m not sure what the best bahn mi is these days, but google produced some great options when I searched just now.

Cattleman's is overrated. If you want a real steak, go to Mickey Mantle's

Sushi Neko is a solid sushi joint

Nothing bad in the Bricktown area. Bricktown Brewery is good, and the pizza joint attached to it has damn good wings
