Flippers no mas. Now OSO
Waiting on a review of Ristorante Carmelo in Orange Beach. I’ve heard great things from a couple people. New Italian joint next to Publix.

Went to Coastal last week, drinks and appetizers were good but do not get the steak. It’s smoked and has very little flavor, no char at all

Fisherman's Corner was my favorite spot last trip I took. Side bar passes the time if there's a wait for a table.

We've always said The Original Point was our favorite. It is in Perdido across the bridge down Innerarity Point Road. Looks like a road house, no view or anything. Just good grub.

The Point is worth seeking out. It can get crowded and it's not that big.

I had the Grouper Crevettes, and split the Mardi Gras Shrimp appetizer this past weekend. My wife had the Grouper Almondine. It was delicious.

We stayed right across the harbor from it and cooked the rest of the time...

Rouses had 9/12 head on frozen gulf shrimp for $5.99/lbs.

Avenue pub was fantastic a few weeks ago. Great atmosphere on the bay. Best shrimp tacos I’ve had in a while.
We also really enjoyed cosmos & playa

Is that Mexican or soul food?

Playa is good. It has some Mexican inspiration I guess but it’s a coastal type restaurant. Definitely not soul food. Chef grew up in New Orleans, which I know this board usually appreciates.

Charter Landing. My favorite place to stay. You can hide from most of the redneck trash.
