Any opinions or feedback on this setup from Academy? Mainly asking about performance and cleaning. I think the worst part of the whole ordeal is cleaning the pot/basket.

I've boiled with just a traditional pot, basket, burner, regulator for years and years. Still fine with it. Just seems like an easy, convenient setup.

That looks cheap like Chek Cola.
Nothing wrong with that at all.

Very cheaply made. Hard pass.

Home Depot has a King Kooker 90qt pot + double jet burner package for $185 shipped to your door.

I have the big Loco one from Lowe's and I love it. It's super easy to clean and the design is easier to get the crawfish in and out of the pot. I'm a fan.

I used a King Kooker 150qt for a couple of years. A friend who is allergic to crawfish won it and gave it to me. Neat little rig. It would easily handle 2 sacks, was user friendly, and came to a boil quickly. No more of a hassle to clean that a pot and a basket. I eventually had some issues with the hose connection breaking and had to jury rig it to keep it working. Then the dude's son came and took it back.
Short version- They work well and somewhat easier than a pot/basket. They are not very well made. I wouldn't buy one, but enjoyed using it.

Have one and I like it. Super easy to clean and get crawfish or crabs in and out.
I have used it a lot in 3 years and the only issue I have had is the wheels which I am about to replace.
Can fit up to 80lbs at one time if needed.

I was at a crawfish boil this past weekend and the guy was using this exact rig. Said easily holds sack and a half. Boils extremely quick (two burners), returns to boil quick. He said he found that only having "just enough water" took a couple boils to figure out. Cleanup and mobility went quick. He loves it. But, he was gifted the rig from his father. He's owned it for a couple years now and keeps it in his garage when not win use.

Thanks for the feedback, fellas.

I would go for one with an all aluminum frame, remember there will be lots of salt water getting all over it and that frame if not aluminum or stainless won't last long

Just hose the thing off when done.
