Well this board can find or pretend to find some weird shite - so I'll sit back and see how this is handled.

Why not just buy the oysters, strain the liquor and toss the oysters?

How much you need? I'll sell you a 40% oyster liquor solution (industry standard) for $60 a gallon.

Well if the guy doesn't like or need the oysters. Not like I'm going to drive to his house and buy them used from him. He can toss them in corn meal or the trash.

I have heard you can take oysters and water put them in a blender, and it will make oyster liquor. my sister got it as tip from a restaurant.

Yeah that's a bit much. I'll just drain them, use the liquor and eat them raw.

Eta: I was going to mention it freezes well. I have about a pint of liquor in my freezer left over from my thanksgiving oyster pies.

And my grandfather used to freeze oysters and all. Thaw and put in his oyster dressing. No one died.

I know you said BR, but Zuppardo's in Metairie had it around Thanksgiving. They don't normally have it though.

I'd buy the oysters, strain the liquor, fry, roast or grill the oysters and call it a double deal.

You could puree the oysters and strain if you don't want any of the solids. Not sure how much more liquor you'll get, though.
