Just got back from NYC and of course had Katz. Will be in Nola in a few months and hoping to find something that’s comparable.

Parkway Bakery has a real nice Reuben.

You won’t find anything comparable are even close to Katz unfortunately.

Why look for that in New Orleans? Did you get gumbo in NY? Get a muffalletta, it's better than pastrami, though pastrami is good.

I like martins better than steins.

The Reuben at Luizzas by the track is great for Nola. Parkway, Steins, and Martins are all good.
However, you will not find anything “comparable” to Katz’s or other NYC staples.
