This time of year I like to make peanut butter pies and give them as gifts to friends and coworkers. I figured I would share my recipe as it’s very easy. The following makes 2 pies.

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
8oz cream cheese
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup powdered sugar
8oz cool whip
2 9 inch pie crusts (I use graham cracker crust, but chocolate crust works well too)
1 chocolate bar for garnish

Mix first 3 ingredients with mixer until creamy. Add powdered sugar and stir. Stir in cool whip. Pour into pie shells and garnish with grated or shaved chocolate bar. Freeze pies after making.

I’ve got pics, but I’m kind of photo posting illiterate.

Pre garnish:

Garnished:

Ten ready for friends:

Nice kitchen. Looks like your granite has some texture- we’re looking at something like that. Do you like it?

We do. I believe they call it “leathered”. When we remodeled We wanted something a little different than what you see most places. We live in a log cabin and felt the unpolished look fit in with our style. That particular pattern is fantasy brown.

Try subbing La Lechera Dulce de Leche for the SCM.

I did with my sweet potato and my pumpkin pies a couple of years ago & it's all I use now.

So easy and so good. I make one every Christmas and/or Thanksgiving. I prefer the chocolate crust.

I'm glad I don't know you because I would love/hate to get that gift every year...

Had a relative bring over a frozen dessert for Thanksgiving called Caramel Freeze.

Holy shite it was incredible. Similar ingredients, minus the PB, add caramels and pecans. I might make it for Christmas. I'll post it up if I do.

Now send me a pie.

I put my kids Christmas presents from Santa together last night, bikes, while drinking Elijah Craig. I had enough parts left over afterward that I’m going to make them wear their helmets the first few times they ride the bikes...
