Picking up Thanksgiving meal

Live in Prairieville. Our families that eat together for this meal have never not cooked it. Due to some health issues with a couple of family members, we plan on picking it up this year. Where to get it from? Rouses? Alexanders? Somewhere else. We just do the basics. Thanks

You'll laugh, but I've heard really good things about ordering from Cracker Barrel. Their Heat-N-Serve Feast says it feeds 8-10 and includes 2 Oven-Roasted Turkey Breasts; Cornbread Dressing; Turkey Gravy; Cranberry Relish; Sweet Potato Casserole; Choice of 2 Country Sides; Pumpkin Pie & Pecan Pie; Sweet Yeast Rolls. Pick it up from them, heat in the oven and serve.

I’ve found smaller mom and pop stores usually have the best tasting meals….
Stuffed chicken s from heberts is a good choice and pick up some sides

You could call Bergeron's in Baton Rouge.

Hebert's cornbread dressing stuffed, deboned chicken is damn good and easy.

Hebert's also does deboned whole turkeys stuffed with cornbread dressing. You can buy extra dressing as well. You'd have to get the other sides somewhere else, but the turkey and dressing would be great.

We had a couple of years where we did Cracker Barrel because my wife was ill. They did a nice job.
Just don't do what my mom (who didn't like to cook) did one year. She ordered the complete meal from Kroger then sent me over to pick it up around 11:00 on Thanksgiving day. When the guy brought out the food, it was all still frozen. A failure to communicate.
We got a rotisserie chicken and cooked the sides and made do.

I was hoping someone would mention Lemondolas. I had them on my mind too

Honey Baked Ham is a solid choice. We did that a couple years ago and no one complained.
