Alright so I’ve fried chicken before but never with a buttermilk bath.
Usually what I do is
season the chicken
Season the flour
Coat once, egg bath, coat again
Chill in fridge
Fry
Right now I have seasoned chicken sitting in a buttermilk bath until tomorrow afternoon. All the recipes I see with buttermilk soak don’t do the egg bath.
If I take this soaked chicken, flour it, egg bath it, flour it again, then chill for a bit before frying, will I have any issues?

All I ever do is marinate in butter milk and pickle juice with some hot sauce in it.
Take it out, and toss in flour, baking powder?, Tony’s.
Comes out delicious and far better then canes or Popeyes.

Going that long is buttermilk is going adversely affect the texture of the chicken.

Season some Pioneer baking mix. Shake off your chicken and toss in the baking mix to coat, then place into 350F frying oil. Perfect.
Pro tip. Use some Accent (MSG) in the buttermilk and in your seasoning. Maybe a teaspoon or two.
