No, I bought one a few years ago, specifically for making a gumbo as I find fried turkeys best for making stock, I was not impressed with their product

Just understand these are not fried like the old days. It's just a roast turkey.

Well damn. I was thinking this was about the fried turkeys. Someone in my family used to get them for Thanksgiving and I always thought they were good

They haven’t been fried for like 20 years

They are frozen but already cooked. Just defrost a few days ahead and warm through in the oven. They are moist and flavorful, about a 12 lber

This is the current version

I went Sunday to order one for Thanksgiving and found out that are NOT fried anymore, they are baked almost done and frozen. You have to thaw out and cook a little more to be ready to eat. $39.99. I was disappointed. Don't know if I'll buy.

Based on all of the youtube fire videos, I do think it is actually rocket appliances.
