Pulled pork baked beans recipe?

We are bringing baked beans for a pot luck at our church. I was thinking of buying some cooked pulled pork from a local place(already sauced) and using it and some breakfast sausage along with onion etc. Anyone here do baked beans this way that could give me some pointers? Thanks.

Please check the Recipe Book thread above. I have a good recipe there. It doesn't copy and paste well, or I'd repost it here.

I've definitely done baked beans with breakfast sausage, and it's delicious. A nice change from the normal bacon/brisket/rib pieces. Completely changes the flavor profile, imo.
Never done pulled pork pieces though.

Baked beans are done to taste at my house. If you're more comfortable with a recipe, look at a few recipes for cowboy baked beans and pick one that sounds good.
If the pork is already sauced, you'll be better off tasting as you go.

I love this recipe.
1 pound bacon, fried super crispy and then chopped
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) white kidney beans or great northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) baked beans, not drained.
1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) black beans drained and rinsed
3/4 cup bbq sauce
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp liquid smoke
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Drain half the fat after cooking the bacon. Sautee onion, garlic and bell pepper
In a mixing bowl add everything and mix well.
Pour the beans into a 9×13 baking pan and bake, covered with foil, for one hour.
Uncover and bake for an additional ten minutes.
Don't use the sausage or pulled pork. Just the bacon.

I use breakfast sausage in mine. This is my usual recipe so you can multiply.
2 16 oz cans Bush’s original
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 white onion
1 bell pepper
1 jalapeño
Bbq sauce and seasoning to taste
Brown sausage, remove, brown onion & pepper, dump everything in, sauce and season to taste, bake in oven or cook on smoker until consistency is right. Far from an exact science and you can definitely play around with it.

I absolutely love doing baked beans in the smoker under a pork butt. I know you are not doing this, but man it is good.

This is basically the Jack Stack recipe from Kansas City, and it’s pretty great. These amounts will be enough for an 8x13 foil pan.
3/4 lb. bacon, diced/cut up
1 onion, chopped
3 1-lb. cans pork & beans in tomato sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1.5 T. chili powder
1.5 T. dry mustard
1.5 tsp. liquid smoke
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 c. honey
1/2 to 3/4 lb. BBQ pulled pork/brisket
Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until the fat is rendered. Remove bacon, then sauté onion in bacon drippings until soft. Add remaining ingredients (except pork) and bring to simmer, stirring to prevent sticking to bottom of skillet. Taste and adjust for heat and/or sweetness. Return bacon to mixture and stir in pork. Transfer to baking dish and heat in oven, covered, at 325 - 350 degrees, for approximately 60 minutes or until bubbling.

That’s pretty close to what I do but sans the liquid smoke and ketchup. And I don’t add protein other than bacon but why not? Only makes it better.
I do add pickled chopped jalapeños and some of the juice from the jar. Then smoke it in the pan along with whatever I’m cooking on the pit.

Just buy the walmart deli baked beans with brisket. I can't believe I'm saying that, but trust me.
