Quick dinners kits from groceries

Whenever our MIL comes to watch our child for the weekend we usually get them something that can be heated up in the oven/microwave or easily assembled. Stumbled upon this when I was at Target the other day:
Chicken & Broccoli Mac & Cheese
$17 feeds two adults + 1 baby (with leftovers) everything came packaged. Only thing that required actual cooking was the grilled chicken (previously grilled but can be served cold). Broccoli and Mac & Cheese containers were microwaved then mixed in. Additional cheddar cheese mix. I'm guessing the only downside is that there's probably a good bit of preservatives in the mac & cheese and grilled chicken. All items come in a bag by the deli.
Again, for $17 it was not that bad of a deal IMO. Everything ready to go and we have leftovers for at least 1 adult and leftover cheddar for future use. I'm just curious if anyone else has found any affordable dinner kits that are affordable like this and taste great.

Fresh Market has some pretty good meals and their Thursday (or whatever day it is) family meal deal is legit

We go to Fresh Market almost every weekend and grab a few "take and bake" meals and typically most of our non-frozen meats. Their meat department is awesome.

I havent bought any or compared pricing, but Sprouts has a good looking selection of these types of meals.

Taco kits from Sam’s/Costco feed the 4 of us with leftovers. Comes with everything except a side and/or chips, including the greatest Lime Crema I’ve ever eaten. The usually run about $15.
Most meals in the Sam’s pre-made section are legit. I got some lobster Mac & Cheese for Valentine’s that was also very good, and was enough for 5 side servings or 2-3 main course, also $17.

We've tried pretty much every one of these Costco meals. The tacos are legit. Wish I knew what seasoning they used for the chicken because I would use that regularly.

old school "meal kit"

We really like those taco kits. We like the stuffed bell peppers and chicken enchiladas from Sam’s as well.

Heb has some good ones

The seasoning probably contains MSG, which is why it is so delicious

Never failed to have a stray corn in the chocolate cake

The ravioli lasagna is pretty solid for a school night also.

Reminds me of being a kid in the 70's. Couldn't wait for lunch at grandmother's house. Watched American Bandstand and it was ready (usually took an hour)

Judge me all you want, but when you’re in a hurry, those Trader Joe’s chicken tikka masala and butter chicken microwaveable meals are pretty damn good.

We buy the gyro kits from Sam's every time we go. Comes with everything for topping except for fresh veggies.

The Little Big Meals are generally great at Fresh Market. $25 to feed family of 4.
Looks like for the next week, it's fajitas or street tacos.
