I’ll check it out this weekend.

I generally don’t like things that are so spicy t’s not enjoyable. So hopefully it’s not that.

Had it Friday. Definitely not over spicy at all. No more spicy than Popeyes, but it’s a completely different class than Popeyes.

To me, it was as good as fried chicken could be. Crispy and extremely juicy. Very similar to Gus’s in Memphis

Looks like a rip off of Gus’s. People will be bitching about those prices

$9 for two pieces of chicken might do that, the pictures look great but two pieces of dark meat chicken ain’t worth $9.

Samesies. In a related note Pyre bbq who used to be in that spot (not the bbq but the original Pyre) has moved up the road into that weird retail complex heading North towards St. Tammany Hospital

Chicken was good. Nice crunch, has some spice and smokiness, some chili powder/paprika/cayenne hints. Red beans were good, but cold. I imagine they plated them while the chicken was frying. Fries were fine, they’re passable, nothing special. Didn’t eat the roll, wife said it wasn’t good

Wife and kids split 4 of the tenders. It was too spicy for the kids. Wife said they were good. Had Cole slaw as well, was a drier slaw, so so. Got their “signature” dipping sauce which tasted like CFA sauce

3 piece dark, two sides, drink and 4 tenders with two sides (no drink) was $29 and change. Enough food, annd all and all it was pretty good. Probably something I’d eat once or twice a year.

I mean that’s “high” but not stupid when compared to Cane’s bullshite caniac. Seems like a lot of (good looking) food

Imma have to stop by

TBH that is not crazy for a family of 4 with a couple little kids.

The tenders are nice size too.

The only thing I would say is, it’ll be tough to get by only offering that spice level on the chicken. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re forced into offering a more milder version

Good to see, they are evolving.

this is why we have a problem in America. The caniac is enough calories for one entire day. Too much for a meal.
