Request: mustard-based BBQ sauce recipe

Would love to find a really good mustard-based sauce recipe to make at home. I've found a ketchup-based sauce that's easy to make and works on brisket, ribs, and pork, but I've tried several mustard-based recipes and still haven't found one I really like.
For those who know the Charleston area I'd love to get close to a Bessinger's or Melvin's flavor profile.

Here's one that I have. Really like it for left over BBQ.
Mustard Vinegar Sauce
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Yellow mustard
1/4 cup onion finely minced
2 cloves garlic pureed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Combine ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For a smoother sauce, blend on high for a few minutes.

That’s pretty much how I do it.
Yesterday for a pork butt I smoked, I did Daigle’s Sweet & Spicy, mustard, woozy sauce and a few dashes of lime juice.
Made for a nice drizzle on pull pork tacos with sautéed onions and cilantro.

Thank you.
And thank you too Spr96. May have to try both of those out soon.

I know; ketchup sauce (or any sauce at all) on brisket isn't for everyone. But I figure if Franklin's in Austin and Black's in Lockhart use ketchup as the base for their sauces, it can't be completely taboo.

Gonna have to make that sauce again. It's been a while. I really enjoy it for pulled pork.

Thank you.
Glad to help.
I'm a bit burned out on that particular recipe so I made a NC style vinegar based sauce using this recipe and I have to say that I really like it. It has a nice tanginess and a bit of heat. Give it a try sometime if you need a change. It is very easy to make.
