Restaurant Recommendations for Ruston and Shreveport/Bossier

I will be traveling to N LA for work and looking for recommendations for local places to eat in these areas. My preference is a casual restaurant with decent atmosphere.

Noble Savage in Shreveport is really good. They have small bands pretty often

Ponch in Ruston is very meh. Skip it and go to White Lightnin.

The Doe's in Monroe is quite good.

Silver Star BBQ in Bossier or Silver Star Grille in South Shreveport. Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen, The Blind Tiger, Ki Mexico.

Also consider Luigi’s in downtown Arcadia. They have a steak lunch special on Tuesdays. Ribeye, 2 sides, bread, dessert, and a drink for like $13 total. It’s pretty good.
