I have a work thanksgiving potluck this week and was asked to bring something from home. I have a container of Billly’s dressing mix in the freezer that I use for cornbread dressing so I thought I’d do a rice dressing.

Anyone have a recipe using the stuff? Would like to be able to do most of the cooking the night before and run home and stick it in oven before the dinner. Any tips on that would help as well.

I use the tubs of either Savoie’s or Richard’s mix sautee’ half a tub of Guidry’s per container of dressing mix, cook according to directions on the dressing mix (20-30 minutes) and mix into cooked Mahatma Extra Long Grain Rice at whatever ratio looks right (I always make a little more rice than I think I’ll need). I put it in a throwaway aluminum pan covered with foil to serve then, or pop in the oven the next day. Easy peasy.
