San Diego Restaurants w/ Kids

We'll be staying two nights in Coronado and three nights in La Jolla. We'll have 3 kids who are generally well behaved as long as it's not a two hour long, white table cloth type meal. Open to any cuisine, price not important but more on the casual side. Also, any breweries that serve food and are kid friendly would be much appreciated. Thanks and

I don't know if this means also some nights in San Diego (?), but if so.. The Crack Shack.
Its a fried chicken sandwich restaurant that's really popular (will have a line, but it moves fast), and it is mostly outdoors with lots of space to run around if desired.
Plus, the area its in is a great place to walk around. Its not far from the Ballast Point taproom, the Mikkeller taproom, and the Stone one. You will have to check on ages allowed in those though. I don't remember.

In La Jolla, George's at the Cove is the popular spot. It is rooftop dining overlooking the ocean. Really beautiful view. The food is a little nicer end, but since it is outdoors you won't even get a second glance about having kids with you. I'd recommend making a reservation since a lot of people want to eat here when in La Jolla.

Wheat and Water is a good pizza place and most likely kid friendly.

I mean, you should absolutely still go into the city because La Jolla will bore you to tears after 1 day and it isn't far. But it is a solid 20-30 minutes depending on traffic, just so you're aware.
In fact, Coronado is technically a little closer to San Diego than La Jolla.

Whisk and Ladle and the Cheese Shop are both great.

All this. La Jolla is great if you love to shop. Or if you’re going to go to the beach. Besides that, it’s kinda boring IMO.
And I agree with the Crack Shack recommendation. I’d suggest Herb & Eatery which is a block over as well.
With younger kids, there are a ton of places in Little Italy you can go. There’s an outdoor courtyard with a cafeteria type restaurant and a few other spots that would probably be good for kids also.
