I had something at the Siguir center yesterday. I only really now one place to eat in Chalmette. Unfortunately that's most people's place there and because of that Rocky and Carlo's had a line past the door. So I went back on Judge Perez to go get fast food. I saw Secret Thai on my map and decided to try it.
I only had two items but both were excellent. I got the Shumai appetizer and a beef Massaman curry. Now I feel like I got to try the other curries. It was amazing. Tons of flavor, right amount of heat.
Owner was saying his friend from Cali who has a Michelin star place helped him with dishes. It may be the best first time Thai experience I've had. So now I know of two places to eat in Chalmette.

I went once and didn’t care for it. I’ve read generally positive reviews, though.

Great place. Heat can get off the charts. A 2 is about all I can go. The amount of food they give is unbelievable.

That stretch has Quitutes for Brazilian, Stella Maris for Mediterranean, Secret Thai, and the best taco truck in the city at Claiborne and Tupelo.

That taco truck also has two locations in the east and one in front of Wagners in the Bywater.

Haven't you given me shite for not going to Metry for something?

Seriously, take the 20 minutes and make the drive for takeout. Well worth it.

I am a fan of the green bean stir fry (has curry mixed in), but everyone loves the Ghost Pad Thai.

Oh I am sure I have, inasmuch u give me shite about everything else.

I need to go back out there to pick up brown soon and Pad Thai is what I am getting but only one scoop.

Trying to remember, but honestly the entrees are huge. Maybe the wontons I have had.

.oh, the beef jerky stuff. Can't remember exactly what it is called. Beef something, as an appetizer. Really good. Two different kinds.

I listed 4.

Two in the east. One on Read near Morrison, one on Chef past Bundy, one on St Claude and one that you mentioned.

Taquiera LA Coyote, you'll notice the numbers on the trailers.

Secret Thai is stupid good. When we get back from the camp, old girl (no pics) is going on a bachelorette trip. I'm going to Secret Thai.
