Have to go to Shreveport tomorrow for a doctor’s appointment. Should be finished by noon with appointment. We love seafood and steaks. Anyone have any recommendations?

Screw all that. Go to Jack's Barbecue. Get the ribs.

If you insist on steak and seafood, there is a Ralph and Kacoo's there.

Pasado's is decent Tex-Mex.

If you aren't from north Louisiana, try the Southern Classic fried chicken. It's like Popeyes with Chick Fil A service.

Betigerfan must only eat at chain restaurants. These are terrible recommendations. To the OP. Let us know what kind of food an an approximate budget so we can give you a better answer.

Seafood and steaks. No budget, we can spend what we want.

Blind Tiger has never disappointed. Only problem is they close too damn early. 8pm, if I recall, on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We stopped at Superior Grill on the way home from Dallas yesterday and had lunch. Mainly because that's what we have done many times over the years when returning from Texas via I-20. Man, that place has really went down the shitter. It's no better than any other run of the mill crap Mexican joint.

Don Juanz Baja Beach Tacos. I've lived in California and this place is legit.

this thread takes the cake for worst dining recommendations

Big problem is you're coming on Monday. Lots of good places closed on Monday. But it looks like Superior's Steakhouse is open. That's your best bet for steak and seafood on a Monday. If you want Mexican steak, go down the street to the original Superior. It's not the best Tex mex ever, but it's still solid. Try the steak nugs (off menu)
