Juststarted fixin' a pot of them. If you have never had them, you must try. It is actually the best part of the turkey. When they cook down, the fall off the bone like pulled pork.

what seasonings goes in the pot? i had some at Super Sunday a few weeks back that were great. the guy pretty much used a crab boil. delicious. a tip for those who don't know.. break them in half when you're ready to eat and the meat slides right off (length wise) with a fork.

I just made a simple roux, and added onion, green onion, bell pepper, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper, let it cook down for two hours.

I have put them in red beans while cooking, also a great meal. Tonight, I'm just going to serve with white rice and green beans.

Sounds and looks good. I would add some bay leaf and lemon halves, but I'm sure that'll taste great as is. Just have to make sure the meat gets nice and tender.

They are already smoked, I'm just boiling them down to tenderize the meat. The smell is unbelievable!!!

You buy them pre-smoked or smoke yourself? I just buy mine raw and cook in a crab boil mixture.

Well, I didn't realize I had bought the spicy necks (the package didn't state it). They are almost too hot to eat, but are VERY good.

I've made turkey neck stew before with raw necks and it was awesome. May try this variation.

Nothing like a roasted turkey neck on Thanksgiving

Sometimes we just bake/roast them for hours (like 250 for 6+ hours). They are amazing. A cleaning lady at the hospital where I work told me about it. Never looked back.
