Directions

Step 1 Set Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 150°F / 65.5°C.

Step 2 Combine 1/2 cup coffee and 4 cups water, split between two mason jars. Tighten lids with fingertips, careful not to over tighten.

Step 3 Place in water bath for two hours.

Filtering Step

Step 1 When the time goes off, remove jars from bath and filter coffee through standard coffee filter into a large jug.

Store for up to 10 days in the refrigerator.

To be honest it would have to be a really good cup of coffee for me to put forth that type of effort

I do two things in the morning before anything else, (1) take a piss, (2) make coffee as soon as possible.

Nevermind, I see this is to make cold brew not to make every morning.

I SV'd my Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries yesterday. It's the only way I'll eat them now. Mouthfeel was superb.

To be fair, the "cold" in cold brew is in quotation marks, and believe it or not, this is the first sous vide application I've seen that takes less time than the original. I haven't tried this yet but my wife loves cold brew and it is a PITA to make it at home, along with the fact that it doesn't stay fresh very long. The idea of having a week's worth of this done and in the fridge is at least a little bit tempting.
